World Cup 26 Showdown is a correct score prediction challenge. Before each Matchday deadline, the first kick-off time of that Matchday group, you submit your predicted scorelines for every fixture in that group.
When the matches finish, your predictions are scored. The more accurate you are, the more points you earn. Your points count towards both a Matchday-specific leaderboard and an Overall leaderboard that builds throughout the tournament. Finish in the top positions and you win a share of that Matchday's cash prize pool.

Multiplier matches are the moments where the leaderboard can swing dramatically. Reading the fixture list, identifying which games are Gold or Silver, and allocating your boldest predictions to those matches is the core strategic challenge of World Cup 26 Showdown.
Each of the 8 Matchdays has its own standalone leaderboard. Your points from that Matchday's fixtures count towards this leaderboard, and only this leaderboard. A fresh start every Matchday means there's always a new chance to win, regardless of how you did before.
Every point you score across any Matchday also feeds your Overall leaderboard position. Your Overall score accumulates throughout the tournament, the players who consistently predict well across the whole World Cup will compete for the $26,000 Overall prize pool.
Missed an earlier Matchday? No problem. You can enter any future Matchday leaderboard even if you skipped earlier ones. Future Matchdays will unlock for play as the tournament progresses.
