The last eight. Real Madrid. Bayern Munich. Barcelona. Atlético Madrid. PSG. Liverpool. Arsenal. Sporting CP. The Champions League quarter-finals have delivered the kind of draw that makes you forget every complaint about the expanded format, this is pure, concentrated European football royalty.
The first legs kick off on Tuesday 7 April and Wednesday 8 April, with four matches that each carry genuine title implications. Bayern are the form team. Arsenal are chasing a historic treble. PSG are defending champions with a score to settle. And Real Madrid, somehow, always, are still standing.
Duelbits Sportsbook has 400+ markets per match across every quarter-final fixture, and the PREDICT section carries cross-match specials running across both matchdays. Full PREDICT markets are listed at the bottom of this preview.

Two of Tuesday's favourites. One boosted price.
Real Madrid & Arsenal Both To Win - 6.50 (boosted from 5.00)
Real Madrid host Bayern Munich at the Bernabéu, where they haven't lost a Champions League knockout home tie since 2012. Arsenal travel to Lisbon as heavy favourites at 1.76, with a head-to-head record against Sporting that reads three wins and four draws, never a defeat. Both sides are strong fancies on the night. At 6.50, the combined price on two of the most justified results of the opening quarter-final matchday represents serious value.

🔥 Super Boost: Either Kylian Mbappé Or Harry Kane To Score 1st - 2.10 4.00
The two most iconic strikers on the night, both backed to open the scoring at nearly double the original price. Mbappé at the Bernabéu in a quarter-final and Kane leading Bayern's attack — at 4.00 this is one of the best-value boosts on the card.
The tie of the round. Possibly the tie of the tournament for soccer betting. Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have met in the Champions League knockout stages in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2022, Bayern haven't beaten Madrid at the Bernabéu in any of those visits. History, though, is just a data point.
Real Madrid comfortably knocked out Manchester City in the round of 16, while Bayern overpowered Atalanta across both legs. Historically one of the competition's most iconic fixtures, this tie again promises high drama.
Bayern's case is compelling. Bayern's front three featuring Harry Kane, Luis Díaz, and Serge Gnabry will make life difficult for Real Madrid's defence. Vincent Kompany's side finished first in the league phase, and their 8-0 aggregate demolition of Atalanta in the round of 16 was as emphatic as it gets. Their away record this season has been exceptional, they travel with confidence.
Real Madrid's case rests on two things: Kylian Mbappé and the Bernabéu. When both are firing, the stadium generates a momentum that has eliminated better-credentialled teams than Bayern. Real Madrid would hope that their talismanic forward, Kylian Mbappé, will be fit to take part in both legs, alongside Vinicius Jr. leading the attack for Los Blancos.
The key question is whether Madrid can contain Bayern's press early and stay organised through the first 30 minutes. If they can, the Bernabéu roar will take over. If Bayern blitz them in the opening exchanges, this could get complicated quickly.
The lean: Bayern's current form is hard to argue against, and the 2.22 price on the road against a fragile-looking Real Madrid defence represents genuine value. But at the Bernabéu, in the quarter-finals, a tight first leg is the most likely outcome of all.
| Sporting CP | Draw | Arsenal |

🔥 Mega Boost: Arsenal To Win & Saka To Score Anytime - 4.50 5.50
Arsenal's most creative player against a Sporting side that has conceded in each of their last five Champions League matches. Saka has been in excellent form in Europe and at 5.50 this is a compelling boosted play for anyone backing Arsenal to take control in Lisbon.
Arsenal are hunting history. The North London club are nine points ahead of Manchester City in the Premier League, having played one more game. They are still in the race to win the FA Cup and would be aiming to win their first treble. The Champions League is the crown jewel, and a quarter-final in Lisbon is exactly the kind of test that defines careers.
Sporting and Arsenal go head-to-head at the Estadio Jose Alvalade. Flashscore app users know these teams have met seven times previously. Sporting have never beaten the Premier League leaders, with the head-to-head stats showing three wins for Arsenal and four draws. The most recent match ended in a 5-1 win for Arsenal on the road in November 2024.
Sporting's route to this point has been dramatic. They came from 3-0 down on aggregate to beat Bodø/Glimt 5-0 at home in the round of 16, a comeback that announced this team's character to the rest of Europe. Each of Sporting's last five Champions League games has produced three or more goals, 22 in total.
But Arsenal have been functionally flawless. Their round of 16 aggregate against Leverkusen was 3-1 across both legs, and their league phase of eight wins from eight games was the only perfect record in the entire competition. Mikel Arteta's structure, particularly without the ball, makes them exceptionally hard to break down.
The risk for Arsenal is the Alvalade atmosphere. The stadium generates noise that can derail any visiting side in the opening exchanges, and Sporting's high press at home is relentless. Arsenal's experience of European away nights, this is not a new arena for them, should count.
The lean: Arsenal's quality is a clear step above Sporting. The 1.76 price is justified. A professional away win, potentially 2-0 or 2-1, sets up a straightforward second leg at the Emirates.

🔥 Mega Boost: Barcelona To Win & Lamine Yamal To Score Anytime - 2.50 3.25
Yamal is the most dangerous player at Camp Nou and arguably the most exciting teenager in world football right now. Barcelona at home against Atlético with their best player boosted to score at 3.25 — this is the standout value play of Wednesday night.
The all-Spanish tie. And history is very much on Barcelona's side, as fun as Flick-Simeone matches tend to be, Barça also tend to win them.
The round of 16 was Barcelona's statement moment. A 7-2 demolition of Newcastle at Camp Nou, after a tense 1-1 first leg, announced this as a team capable of destroying anyone on their day. They've outscored their last seven opponents 24-6 in all competitions, and players like Raphinha and Pedri are finding their rhythm after injury issues. Gavi just got back on the pitch after a long absence, too.
The Atlético counter-argument is also real. In their last 26 matches at home in the Wanda Metropolitano over the last year or so, Atlético have won 23, and by often emphatic margins, 4-0 over Barca, 4-0 over Real Sociedad, 5-1 over Eintracht Frankfurt, 5-2 over Real Madrid, 5-2 over Tottenham. The away leg is where the tie could turn.
Julián Álvarez has been in devastating form. The Argentine scored the tie-clinching goal against Tottenham in the round of 16 second leg and now has 14 Champions League goals in his last 17 matches. Simeone's side, when they get a foothold, can hurt Barcelona's high defensive line badly.
Camp Nou in the first leg, though, is Barcelona's ground. The noise, the possession, the attacking trio of Yamal, Raphinha, and Lewandowski, Atlético will need to be perfect at the back and clinical on the counter.
The lean: Barcelona at home is as close to a certainty as the quarter-finals produce. 1.54 is short, but it's appropriate. A two-goal advantage before the second leg in Madrid makes this a reachable target for Barça.

🔥 Mega Boost: PSG To Win & Ousmane Dembélé To Have 2+ Shots On Target - 3.00 3.75
Dembélé is the reigning Ballon d'Or winner and PSG's most dangerous attacker. At the Parc des Princes in a Champions League quarter-final, he'll be central to everything Luis Enrique's side does going forward. Two shots on target is an achievable bar for the Frenchman, and at 3.75 with PSG as home favourites this is a well-priced Mega Boost.
The rematch. Last season, PSG eliminated Liverpool in the round of 16 in one of the competition's most tense ties. This time, roles have shifted. PSG are the defending champions, but Liverpool arrive in considerably better shape than a year ago.
PSG are the defending champions, they have the reigning Ballon d'Or winner (Dembélé) up front, they have the best midfielder (Vitinha) and fullbacks (Achraf Hakimi, Nuno Mendes) in the world. The Parc des Princes is one of the most hostile atmospheres in European football, and Luis Enrique's system, when fully functioning, is arguably the most complex press in club football.
But Liverpool have serious momentum. PSG hit eight goals past Chelsea in the previous round, while Liverpool completed a dramatic comeback to eliminate Galatasaray. Expect fireworks. Liverpool's round of 16 second leg, a 4-0 win with four different scorers, showed what this team looks like at its best.
The Alexander Isak question looms large. Duelbits PREDICT has a dedicated market on whether Isak starts (Yes: 3.00, No: 1.36). If he plays, Liverpool's counter-attacking threat increases significantly, his movement in behind PSG's high defensive line is exactly the kind of problem that can unsettle even the best-organised sides.
A year ago, Europe's best team over the previous six months (Liverpool) fell to Europe's hottest team (PSG) in an unimaginably tense round-of-16 tie. A year later, neither label applies. This is closer to 50-50 than the 1.72 price suggests, but PSG's home record and defensive depth makes them worth backing at the Parc.
The lean: PSG at home are a formidable proposition. The 1.72 holds value. Liverpool will make it difficult and may well score, but a PSG first-leg win is the most likely single outcome.
Duelbits PREDICT carries cross-match specials running across both matchdays. Here are the full markets available for the quarter-final first legs:
